Rocky Mountaineer–Monday

Hotel room had a pod coffee maker, so we had some reasonable coffee before we left. Breakfast was on the train. Seats are good and big windows. The mountains are impressive with many sheer rock faces right beside the train. We followed the Fraser river, then the Thompson river to Kamloops, with many impressive views on the way. The day started off  cloudy and with a little rain and slowly changed to a warm sunny day. We saw some mountain sheep with huge curling horns, some eagle nests and some osprey nests, and one osprey catching a fish from the river.
